Biography

Abdallah Arafah is a Moroccan researcher and novelist. Arfa was born in Salé, Morocco, in 1962. He has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Sorbonne University in Paris and is an expert in the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and a Researcher in Linguistics, Sufism and Islamic Thought. ArafaH founded what he called the new literature, which is his customary narrative project with the Qur'anic reference, in which he sees a different concept of literature as his cognitive purposes lie in the production of cognitive literature that transforms the reader's conscience, knowledge and behavior. His novel Khanatha won the Young Readers' Award for Moroccan Book.
