Morteza Kazar is an Iraqi novelist born in Basra in 1982. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Baghdad University in 2005, published his first novel “Broom Paradise” in 2008, which was considered an important addition to the Iraqi narrative as it included many articles and critical studies, describing it as one of the new writing models in the Arab narrative.
His film “Lord Forgive Nadeima” has participated in the Dubai Film Festival in 2014.
