Oussama Zeid was born in Lebanon in 1961. He studied at the Lille University of Science and Technology in France and received a PhD in the History of Science and Technology. He is currently studying Physics at the Institute of Fine Arts Engineering. He has published several books on history, science and public issues, including Dar al-Saqi's 2008 The History of Numbers across Civilizations, which generally talks about ancient digital systems and the role of Arab and Islamic civilization in the development of india's digital system. The book also talks about the most famous philosophers and athletes over time in this field. Sayadi published another book, "The Most Important Inventions and Discoveries in the History of Humanity", in 2011. In addition, he also produced three dictionaries specializing in scientific words, technology from French to English, Arabic and vice versa.
